Log Cabin Garages
It is well known that cars stay in better condition and last longer when they are kept in a garage, and many car owners are looking for the best option when it comes to building a garage on their property.
When considering which type of garage to build, you most likely be looking for a garage that is strong, resistant to wind and rain, and will last a long time.
Greenacre’s solution to this requirement is our Log Cabin Garage.
Strength
This Log Cabin Garage is built to withstand strong wind and rain, as it is constructed using 44mm thick double tongue and groove pine cladding. This particular tongue and groove cladding uses double tongue and groove in each log to ensure tighter and more secure interlocking between each and every pine log.
One of the main reasons why this log cabin garage is particularly strong is that it is constructed using Baltic-sourced timber which grows slower, thicker and denser than timber in warmer areas, which makes it a strong option for constructing garden buildings.
The strength and longevity of the log cabin garage can be enhanced if you treat the pine with a spirit-based wood treatment prior to or shortly after construction. This will help protect the timber from moisture, and keep the pine free from decay and wood rot for years to come.
Accessibility
The log cabin garage is designed with two wide opening doors, with a total door width of 7’ 10” and high eaves of 6’ 6” allowing easy access into and out of your garage at the front.
Additionally there is a single lockable door to the rear of the log cabin garage to give you access to your vehicle or other belongings without needing to unlock the front doors. Furthermore there is an opening window on the side of the log cabin garage.
Versatility
Due to its size and strength, the log cabin garage not only makes a great storage option for your car or motorcycle, but can also be used for other storage options, or even as a workshop.
Being constructed from wood, these log cabin garages are easily customisable in appearance, as you can easily paint or stain the timber whichever colour or shade you like to help the log cabin garage blend in with your garden or to match your house.
