With so many major sporting events in 2012 why wouldn’t you want a log cabin to transform in to the perfect cinema room for you and your friends? Also known as a man cave it is a unisex garden commodity as although I hate to say it if you are not in to sport then there is a new series of Jeremy Kyle in America. Personally I am not a fan of this but have been told by more than one woman about this news. I am sure a TV room for soaps and this plus strictly come dancing would be a great way to persuade your partner to purchase a log cabin this year. Just make sure you book the room for the all important sporting events!!!!

Here are a list of the sporting events that prove why 2012 is the year of the log cabin:

2012 Olympics

European Football Championships

Wimbledon

Silverstone F1

Ryder Cup

Premier League – Can Manchester City stop the big 4?

If this isn’t enough to get you excited then I can’t help you!!!!

If you already have a log cabin then what better activity than to decorate it. Whether you choose a patriotic theme or opt for a more stylish approach with abstract art and stylish ornaments. Remember you can decorate the interior as well as the exterior and create a unique but stylish modern design that will leave all of your neighbours jealous. It doesn’t have to be expensive, some simple additions can transform the look and feel of your log cabin for example a canvas sunset always creates a relaxed ambience whilst a framed England shirt or team of your choice will create the male pad look.

I have to admit I am probably bias when it comes to the discussion of man caves as I am a sport lover but I still respect it can be used for the X Factor lovers, to be honest I am a bit of a fan of Take Me Out. With 2012 being such a large sporting year why not add some patriotic colours to your log cabins and cheer on England and Great Britain this year.
